Joint showcase confirms system-level readiness for AI and cloud infrastructure at scale
TAIPEI, Taiwan — May 20, 2025 (COMPUTEX) — As AI workloads continue to scale and demand unprecedented memory bandwidth and operational efficiency, H3 Platform, a leader in composable infrastructure for modern data centers, today unveiled its second-generation CXL Memory Sharing solution in partnership with SMART Modular Technologies. The companies jointly demonstrated a production-ready, high-performance memory pooling architecture enabling simultaneous access from four hosts to 16 CXL memory modules—showcasing the system’s stability, scalability, and readiness for real-world deployment.
This collaboration marks a significant advancement in the adoption of Compute Express Link (CXL) technology across AI inference, real-time analytics, and high-density cloud computing applications. Built on SMART Modular’s CXL E3.S CMM memory modules and H3 Platform’s proprietary pooling architecture, the solution enables dynamic memory allocation across multiple hosts while reducing power consumption and improving resource utilization.
“We are excited to partner with H3 Platform at COMPUTEX to showcase how SMART’s CXL memory modules deliver real system-level value in advanced memory pooling environments. This joint demonstration validates CXL’s readiness for scalable, next-gen AI and cloud infrastructure.” — Vincent Hung, Director of APAC Business Development
Enabling full-stack system integration and deployment at scale
The joint demonstration represents a comprehensive validation of host-to-memory integration, operational efficiency, and system-level compatibility. By bridging hardware and software at scale, the collaboration underscores the ecosystem’s maturity and the technology’s deployment readiness for next-generation data center architectures.
“Taking the concept into a live demonstration not only showcases our development strength in CXL technology, but also highlights the results of our close collaboration with ecosystem partners. We remain committed to advancing CXL Memory Sharing and Pooling technologies for real-world deployment in data center environments, and to shaping the future of memory architecture together with our industry partners.”
— Brian Pan, CEO, H3 Platform
Pushing the frontier of composable infrastructure
At COMPUTEX 2025, H3 Platform will also showcase its second-generation CXL Memory Sharing system, supporting five hosts accessing a 5TB shared memory pool in real time. A video demonstration will illustrate four hosts simultaneously accessing 16 memory modules—validating the performance, stability, and feasibility of multi-host pooling under real-world workloads. This next-generation demonstration provides attendees with a firsthand look at the future of scalable memory infrastructure for AI and cloud computing environments.
